About Periodic Fever Syndrome: Periodic fever syndromes (or autoinflammatory disorder ) results in disorders of the innate immune system inducing intense episodes of melancholy. The signs are recurrent episodes of fever, rash, joint swelling, chest or abdominal pain without a growth in T cells or autoantibodies. Frequently periodic fever syndromes possess a clear genetic cause and these syndromes are defined by the responsible gene. Other regular fever syndromes are hereditary and also the cause of these syndromes is not fully known.
